Lighting and Video System Reconstruction of Mahen Theater

In Mahen Theater, we have done the reconstruction and renewal of lighting and video system. We have built one united control system for videoprojections and lighting equipment. We provided a monitoring system of surveillance cameras for the performances.

Technical Specification

The main element is a NEC laser 3DLP projector with high brightness up to 12.000 ANSI. On the custom-made desk there are three 28″ 4K displays iiyama, for preview are used another two 40″ 4K monitors above the desk. Everything is connected to the Blackmagic Design Smart Videohub 12G 40×40, which supports video formats with the resolution up to 2160p60.

What bring these systems?

MA Lighting media server is the heart of the scenic system, it manages to control videos and 3D objects in real time. Automatic ROBE lights and scenic effects could be controlled by a classic or movable desk.
A laser projector with 12 000 ANSI lm was installed, here the content is being distributed by Blackmagic Design router with the support of 4K resolution.
The directing room is now equipped with Tricaster cutting room for mixing four video inputs that enable streaming and recording simultaneously.
