The auditorium of the JAMU Faculty of Music has struggled with unsatisfactory acoustics for a long time. Uneven sound distribution and high sound pressure could really bother during entrance examinations. Therefore, we have equipped the space with several types of acoustic elements, which not only significantly improved the quality of listening, but also allow a certain degree of variability and a change in the acoustic conditions of the room.
_
We have equipped the rear wall of the auditorium with acoustic diffusers and heavy velvet curtains, which will make it possible to reduce the reverberation time after expansion and thus adapt the acoustics, for example for brass instruments. The overall quality of listening is significantly enhanced by low-frequency elements, which we placed on the ceiling so that the original historical appearance of the coffered ceiling was not disturbed.
_
We designed and manufactured custom acoustic diffusers. Their parameters are precisely calculated and their design harmonizes with the interior.

The complete lighting of the hall was also modernized. The new luminaires are tailor-made according to the specific requirements of the concert hall. The high comfort of color rendering and the luminous flux of individual components mainly contribute to the light comfort of the performers and listeners. The lighting is dimmable and controllable from a programmable touch panel.

As part of the reconstruction of the auditorium, we also installed new connection points and cable infrastructure with connectivity to the director.
