Theatre "12", Technological Equipment including the Acoustics of Rehearsal Rooms

In the new chamber scene of the Moravian-Silesian theater we installed all the stage technology such as traction units, stage, elevation auditorium, etc. We designed and installed AV technology chain, call-out system, main sound system, intercom and scenic lighting. With that we also distributed all the related cabels, including the connection points and technological rack equipment.

• The new camera chain allows the theater’s operator to monitor events on the stage during the performance.
• The new mixing console can be operated from anywhere using a single power and UTP cable to connect to the entire system. The operator’s comfort has also increased with the possibility to control the counter by using a tablet (via Wi-Fi).
• We have designed an induction loop under the elevation of the auditorium for people that are hard-of-hearing.

In the rehearsal room for the orchestra you do not design acoustics for the listeners but for the musicians themselves. In order to have a successful rehearsal, they must hear each other well. That’s why we’ve designed and installed acoustic diffusers which do not dampen the sound but evenly disperse it into the space.

In the attic of this building we were working on a space of the recording studio and the rehearsal room of an orchestra and ballet. We have equipped them with AV technology in the form of a mixing desk, LCD displays, cameras and cable conduits. In addition to that we have designed a room acoustic solution and installed the acoustic elements into the premises with the help of acoustic simulations and calculations, we have designed a room acoustic solution and installed the acoustic elements into the premises.
