Faculty of Economics and Management at CULS, Large Auditorium

We designed the modernization of the audiovisual chain for the large auditorium in pavilion T. That is the largest lecture hall at the Faculty of Economics and Management with the capacity of 280 students. Newly designed technologies are connected to parts of the existing chain, we started maximizing the use of current IPs AV technology for transport and signal processing in the chain.

• The new system is using an enlarged screen for the projection with a size of 14 × 5 m. Projection is ensured by a pair of projectors and its images is united into one large seamless image area on the projection screen. The new presentation image processor will make it possible to display up to four independent image sources.

• We projected the geometry of projection and positioning against the screen so that during the need of an emergency operating mode, such as an image processor failure, only one projector is immediately able to show the content onto the center of the screen.

• The AV signals of the reconstructed audio string will be transferred via an available Ethernet network with an optimized structure using VLANs. Therefore there will be very fast interconnection between newly emerging and equally equipped systems within the CULS.

• We designed a camera chain for the needs of e-learning into the lecture hall.
