MUNI Standardization of AV Technology Through out the Faculties

We have made a project of the modernization of AV equipment for classrooms, training rooms, laboratories and gyms for thirteen faculties of Masaryk University in Brno. The overall content of the project hit over 270 rooms which we have supervised after authoring the project documentation.

• We had focused on the replacement of the projecting elements (especially projectors focused on a laser version of the light source) during the entire upgrade. We have also modernized the signal management and the audio chains.
• The presentation elements in tuiting areas are usually represented by projection screens (in the form of roller, frame and electric), by ceramic boards in the standard form and with a projection layer (to reduce reflection).
• The audio chains were designed according to the purpose and size of the room, ranging from the basic sound of laptop and the small speakers on the wall, to a complex system with wireless microphones, DSP, and zone sound system.

This has been the most extensive reconstruction of AV technologies in university sphere since the Velvet Revolution (1989).

The change of technologies has brought many benefi ts to the university.
Our new AV technology supports teaching, enhancing e-learning capabilities to record and distribute study content, and unifi es the control system. Additionally it is less likely to obsolete, it does not require complicated maintenance and it allows distant administration.
